Fire engulfs sandal factory



RANJHA: A fire engulfed a sandal factory at Janaki rural municipality-3, Indrapuri in Banke last night.

Factory worker Dilip Kumar Chamar has been seriously injured in the fire.

Most of his body parts have been burnt.

He has been rushed to Bheri Zonal Hospital for treatment.

The fire was doused at 8.00 am this morning, said Banke district police spokesperson DSP Shiva Bahadur Singh.

The fire gutted raw materials as well as all produced materials.
