Nepali Ekata Samaj congratulates Ladakhi people for Special Status



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Ekata Samaj, India has congratulated Ladakhi people on attaining a Special Status granted by the Government of India.

Issuing a press note on Wednesday, the Samaj congratulated the Ladakhi people expressing hope that Ladakh would remain as good and safe place as before for the Nepali people working here.

In August 2019, the Parliament of India had passed an act by which Ladakh became a union territory on 31 October, 2019.
