Families of US-Bangla air crash victims can file cases in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Families of victims killed in the US-Bangla air crash that occurred in Nepal two years ago can legally file their cases at the Nepali courts for compensation.

Earlier, seven Nepali families of the victims had filed separate cases at Kathmandu District Court, seeking compensation.

On March 6, High Court Patan okayed the decision issued by Kathmandu District Court declaring that the area of cases field by the families of the US-Bangla air crash victims lies in Nepal.
