Gangster Ramesh Bahun sentenced to 10 years



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu District Court has sentenced notorious gangster Sujan Poudel alias Ramesh Bahun to 10 years in jail.

A single bench of Judge Nawaraj Dahal on Sunday also fined Poudel Rs 75,000 on a drug smuggling case filed against him.

The court sentenced him to the jail term with effect from the date he was arrested.

Poudel, also accused of extorting businessmen in different pretexts, was arrested on December 22.
