Parliament meeting at 1 pm today



KATHMANDU:  A meeting of the federal parliament is taking place today. The meeting has been scheduled for 1 pm. The meeting has been disrupted time and again due to the protest by the main opposition Nepali Congress.

Nepali Congress has been disrupting the parliament meetings accusing the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) of filing a case against Deputy-leader of the NC Parliamentary Party Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar over political prejudices.

The anti-graft body CIAA filed a corruption case at the Special Court against 175 people including  Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar, indicting them in the Lalita Niwas land scandal.
