NCP Secretariat meeting goes for Deputy Speaker’s resignation



KATHMANDU: A Secretariat meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) on Saturday has decided to go for the resignation of the Deputy Speaker at the Parliament Shiva Maya Tumbhahamphe.

In its meeting held at Prime Minister’s office Baluwatar today, the NCP decided to end the impasse about the speaker’s post by asking Tumbhahamphe to resign.

Narayan Kaji Shrestha, spokesperson at NCP said that the meeting was yet to decide the name of the speaker.
