Himalayan Sherpa holds Manang Marshyangdi Club to a goalless draw



KATHMANDU: Himalayan Sherpa Club (HSC) and Manang Marshyangdi Club (MMC) played a goalless draw at Dashrath Stadium in the fifth round of ongoing Martyrs’ Memorial ‘A’ Division League on Saturday.

The match was a slow game with both teams unable to hold their possession.

Kelme Man of the Match was awarded to Ulrich Siwe of HSC and received Nrs 10,000 cash.

MMC could have topped the tally but failed to do so after a frustrating draw. MMC defender Suraj BK was sent off in the second half.

Earlier, Machhindra Club beat Jawalakhel Youth Club 1-0 and topped the league chart.

The champions will get Nrs 50 lakh.
