Chairman Dahal urges all communist parties to be united in time

KATHMANDU: Chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has urged all communist parties in the country to be united for implementing socialism.

At a program organized to welcome new entrants to the party at party headquarters, Dhumbarahi, today, Chairman Dahal requested all communist forces for the unification in time, reasoning that the country now prepared a base for socialism. “There is no option for the socialists to stand together,” he stressed.

The Chairman welcomed leaders Mohan Karki ‘Jivanta’ and Sita Karki in the party who had left the communist party led by Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplab’. “My friends, you can join the NCP without a qualm. We’ve no alternative but to get united on time,” he added. Dahal reminded that the wave of unification among communist parties has gained pace despite seeing some rift in the beginning because of internal and external factors.

He hoped, “I believe even the Biplab and his followers will join NCP.” He claimed that the unification between then CPN-Maoist and CPN-UML has ensured stable politics and intensified development activities.

On the occasion, leader Jivanta said they joined NCP, seeing the future of socialism through economic development.
