KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari sent a message of condolences to Governor General of Australia, David Hurley, on the loss of human lives, floras and faunas, and large-scale displacement of people, extensive damages to properties and other infrastructures by bushfire.
Sending the message on Friday, the President expressed deep condolences and sympathies to the government and the people of Australia and the families who lost their loved ones and properties, said a press release issued by the Foreign Ministry.
Similarly, President Bhandari wished for the success of the ongoing firefighting efforts of the government and the people of Australia.
