Septuagenarian succumbs to COVID-19 in Kailali



KAILALI: A 73-year-old man has died from COVID-19 in the course of treatment at Seti Provincial Hospital in Kailali district.

The septuagenarian who tested positive for COVID-19 on December 9 succumbed to the virus while undergoing treatment on Thursday night, said the hospital administration.

Originally from Bhimdatta municipality-1, Kanchanpur, the elderly had been admitted to the hospital on Wednesday after being diagnosed with the virus.

With this, the number of deaths from COVID-19 has reached 61 in Sudurpaschim Pradesh.
