Chairman of Sundar Yatayat Thapa arrested



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested Chairman of Sundar Yatayat, Bhesh Bahadur Thapa in a check bounce case.

A team from the Metropolitan Police Complex, Kathmandu arrested Thapa from Kalimati on Wednesday, according to Superintendent of Police Somendra Singh Rathore.

One Javindra Prasad Banjade had lodged a complaint against him a month back.

Thapa was arrested for bouncing a check of Rs 10 million.
