JHAPA: Police have arrested four individuals for selling brown sugar in Birtamod of the district.
Acting on a tip-off, a police squad deployed from Birtabazaar arrested Dayalal Rajbangsi, 24, Sanjaya Kumar Rajbangsi and Arun Kumar Rajbangsi of Birtamod and Mohan Kumar Oli of Birtamod-2, Phulbari on Tuesday evening.
Police have also confiscated 5.7 gram brown sugar-looking substance from their possession.
Police said they are investigating the case after taking the arrested into police custody of Area Police Office, Anarmani.
