Normal life hit as temperature dips in Valley

KATHMANDU: Normal life has been affected as the temperature went down in the Kathmandu Valley.

The temperature was recorded at 8.4 degree Celsius on Wednesday morning, according to Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD). The temperature is expected to be 24 to 26 degree Celsius during the day today.

The temperature is gradually decreasing in the federeal capital these days. It was 9 degree Celsius on Tuesday morning and 10 degree Celsius on Monday morning.

The mercury normally goes down when the sky is clear at night. MFD has forecast shiny weather throughout the country with chances of partly cloudy weather in the hilly regions today.

The weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly regions, however, without chances of rainfall, said Barun Paudel, a meteorologist. The weather will be mainly fair in the rest of the country.
