67-year-old succumbs to coronavirus in Saptari



SAPTARI: A 67-year-old woman died of coronavirus infection in Saptari on Sunday.

The woman currently living in Rajbiraj Municipality-6 succumbed to the virus.

She was tested positive last Tuesday, and was admitted to Chhinnamasta Hospital this morning.

She was previously staying in home isolation after positive lab report.

As many as 21 persons have died of the infection in Saptari district so far.

Meanwhile, Rupani Rural Municipality has been sealed off from Sunday after three officials and one elected representative tested positive for the virus.
