KATHMANDU: A total of five COVID-19 patients succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 322 the Ministry of Health and Population stated on Friday.

According to the Ministry, four men and one woman died of the coronavirus.

A 40-year-old woman in Morang, men aged 65 years in Mahottari, 45 years in Dhanusha, 70 years in Kathmandu and 55 years in Nawalparasi succumbed to the pandemic.

Nepal had recorded five COVID-19 deaths on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded 1,454 coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours. With the new cases, Nepal’s tally has reached 51,919.
