Biratnagar reports one more coronavirus death



BIRATNAGAR: A 44-year-old woman has died from coronavirus in the course of treatment in Biratnagar.

High blood pressure-ridden woman of Biratnagar-19, Milanchowk passed away while undergoing treatment at COVID-19 Treatment Center of Koshi Hospital on Thursday evening, said Dr Deepak Sigdel, the chief of the Center.

She had been shifted to COVID Treatment Center from the isolation ward of Koshi Hospital after her swab test result came out positive.

She was also suffering from hypoxia and respiratory complications. With this, the number of deaths from the coronavirus has reached 16 in Biratnagar.
