Galyang hospital resumes services after two months

SYANGJA: Two months after its closure, the Galyang Municipal Hospital in Syangja’s Galyang Municipality was brought into operation from Monday, Hospital’s Chief Thanapati Neupane said.

The hospital’s services were halted for fear of community transfer of coronavirus after a doctor there tested positive for the virus.

All services in the hospital including emergency and out-door services have been brought into operation, Neupane added.

At present the hospital has set up isolation wards and separate entrances for the patients so that they should not be afraid of anything while visiting the hospital for treatment, he shared.

Currently, in Galyang, 10 infected persons are receiving treatment while 58 others returned home after complete recovery from the virus.
