CAN set to appoint Rajput as national cricket coach

KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) is set to appoint Lalchand Rajput of India as the head coach of Nepal’s national cricket team.

Rajput, the former left-hand batsman, is now serving as the head coach of Zimbabwe national team.

Prior to this, Rajput was the head coach of Afghanistan national cricket team.

CAN President Chatur Bahadur Chand said salary negotiations are underway.
