Nepali man dies of coronavirus in India



KATHMANDU: A Nepali man has died of coronavirus in India.

According to the Nepali Embassy in Delhi, Durga Thapa, 45, died of coronavirus.

Thapa, a permanent resident of Darsiwas of Palpa, had been in Rohtak, Haryana, India for several years for employment. He died while undergoing treatment in Haryana.

According to embassy sources, so far 28 Nepalis living in different parts of India have tested positive for coronavirus.

Similarly, 13 have returned home after recovery while 14 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in India, according to the Nepali Embassy in Delhi.
