KMC fixes 11 different places to veggies

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has arranged 11 different places in the capital for the sale of fruits and vegetables.

According to Ishwar Man Dangol, spokesperson of the KMC, Kalanki, Bafal, Swoyambhu, Banasthali, Gongabu, Basundhara, Gopi Krishana, Tinkune, Lainchaur, Ratnapark and Koteshwor areas have been fixed for the sale of vegetables and fruits.

These places have been arranged after the Kalimati Vegetables and Fruits market, the biggest agro-market in Nepal, was shut down in an effort to stem the spread of coronavirus.
