One held for hiking price of LPG gas

PARBAT: Police have arrested a trader on the charge of hiking price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in the district.

The arrested has been identified as Min Prasad Regmi of Jaljala Rural Municipality-3.

Acting on grievances of customers, police  arrested him on Thursday. Regmi runs Dipsan Metal Stores at Waribeni.

Customers have accused Regmi of selling the LGP gas for higher prices than the one fixed by the government.
