Nepali student in Australia tests positive for coronavirus

KATHMANDU: A Nepali student in Australia’s Tasmania has tested positive for coronavirus.

The student has been kept in isolation at the Royal Hobart Hospital in Tasmania, reports have said.

According to reports, the youth pursuing Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management at Australian Ideal College is out of danger now.

He had reached Hobart via Singapore on February 26 from Nepal. Reports said he had spent 20 hours in Singapore and a couple of hours in Sydney.

Meanwhile, four others, who had come in contact with the youth, have been quarantined.
