11 injured, 4 critically, in road mishap

GORKHA: As many as 11 people were injured in an accident at Simba of Barpak Sulikot rural municipality-4 in Gorkha on Tuesday morning.

The accident occurred when a jeep — Ba 15 Cha 1016 — heading towards Gorkha from Ranchowk fell some 50 meters off the road, police said.

Of the injured, condition of four — Rama Gurung, 20, Bimala Gurung, 19, Chhetra Kumari Gurung, 60, and Sukamaya Gurung, 73, is critical, according to Chief of the District Traffic Police Office, Suk Bahadur BK.

The injured have sustained chest, head, and leg injuries.
