Health desk set up in Banke



BANKE: A health desk has been set up at Katkuyinya of Banke to prevent risks from a possible outbreak of coronavirus infection.

Acting chief of district health office in Banke, Angad Bahadur Shahi, Banke said the health desk has started providing health screening services to people entering Nepal via India.

The desk has been established with essential medicines, medical equipment and infrastructures, he said.

Likewise, the Banke health office is making preparations to expand the setup of health desks in other bordering checkpoints as well.

A health desk has already been established at the Nepal-India border checkpoint, Jamunaha, a month ago.

Similarly, a health desk has also been set up at Nepalgunj Airport.
