DADELDHURA: A youth who entered a bathroom to take a bath after playing Holi in the district was found dead.
The deceased has been identified as Padam Bhandari, acting president of District Committee, Dadeldhura of Nepal Student Union, the student wing of Nepali Congress.
Bhandari had entered the bathroom of his own house for a bath on Monday afternoon after playing Holi.
A preliminary report of the police shows Bhandari apparently died of asphyxiation in the course of taking bath in the bathroom fitted with a gas-geyser.
DSP Dadhiram Nyaupane said they are carrying out further investigation into the case.
