KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a graft case against a Sub Inspector of Police at Area Police Office, Yagyabhumi in Dhanusha.

The anti-graft body lodged a case against Sub Inspector of Police at Kalicharan Panjiyar at Special Court on Friday for demanding Rs 15,000 bribe for a service seeker.

A CIAA team had arrested him red-handed from Mithila Municipality-6, Dhalkebar Chowk on December 21.

He has been accused of demanding bribe from a service seeker assuring of settling a case.
