BIRTANAGAR: Province 1 has confirmed 175 fresh coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.
Of 934 samples tested in the last 24 hours, reports of 60 women and 115 men came positive for the pandemic virus.
A total of 61 cases have been confirmed in Sunsari, 55 in Morang, 34 in Jhapa, five in Taplejung, two each in Dhankuta and Sankhuwasabha, one each in Khotang, Udayapur, Ilam, and Panchthar, and 12 from outside Province 1, according to the Ministry of Social Development.
The number of coronavirus cases in Province 1 has reached 28,677. A total of 49 people have been discharged today, taking total recoveries to 23,452.
