NEPSE index up by 8.27 points

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) that was declining since the beginning of the trading on Thursday improved in the last minute by 17 points.

However, the stock market declined again and registered an increase by 8.27 points when compared to Wednesday as trading closed on the last trading day of the week.

The market closed at 1,964.02 points.

Likewise, the Sensitive Index also increased by 2.32 points and reached 374.02 points.

A total of 9.4 million shares worth Rs 4.14 billion have been traded. Although the market has increased by a single digit, the sub-index of Hydropower and Development Bank has decreased.

The Development Bank sub-index fell by three points and Hydropower by 76 points

The sub-index of life insurance increased the most by 206 points and the sub-index of manufacturing and production increased by 118 points.
