Eight fake examinees face music in Surkhet

SURKHET: District Police Office, Surkhet has arrested eight fake examinees for writing exams in the name of other candidates.

DPO, Surkhet caught eight fake examinees while they were writing exams on behalf of police constables for the paper of Music Technology in the office building of Public Service Commission in Surkhet on Wednesday.

The arrested are Tilak BK of Bhagawati rural municipality-7, Ram Bahadur Karki, 19, of Gurans rural municipality-2, said Police Inspector Kanak Shahi.

Similarly, 25-year-old Dipendra BK of Bhagawati rural municipality-7, Ramesh Prasad Neupane, 20, of Chamunda Bindrasaini municipality-5, said Shahi.

Likewise, 19-year-old Yam Paudel of Birendra municipality-1, Uttam BC, 18, of Panchapuri municipality-2, Rudra Prasad Sharma, 20, of Panchapuri municipality-1 have also been arrested.

Police have also arrested 21-year-old Deepak Kandel of Panchapuri municipality-2 on the charge of arranging fake examinees.

A total of 11 fake examinees have been arrested in the police constable exam under music technology that started in Surkhet from December 5.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the fake examinees into custody.
