321 COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment in ICU, 77 on ventilator support

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has said that 321 COVID-19 patients in Nepal are undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and 77 have been put on ventilator support.

According to the Ministry of Health, 30 persons are undergoing treatment in ICU in Province 1, 20 in Province 2, 196 in Bagmati Province, six in Gandaki Province, 51 in Lumbini Province, 17 in Karnali Province and one in Sudurpaschim Province.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Dr. Jageshwor Gautam also said that 11 in Province 1, two in Province 2, 57 in Bagmati, and seven in Lumbini Province are on the ventilator support.
