Chitwan records 35 new coronavirus cases

CHITWAN: Thirty-five new coronavirus cases have been reported in Chitwan district.

Out of 289 swab samples tested at the laboratory of Bharatpur Hospital, reports of 35 people came out to be positive.

All the infected are from Chitwan district. The infected are aged 14 to 69.

According to a press note unveiled by Bharatpur Hospital on Friday night, nine males and eight females are from Bharatpur Metropolitan City.

Similarly, four males and one woman from Rapti, one woman from Khairahani, four males and two women from Ratnanaar have been diagnosed with the virus.

Likewise, two women from Ichchhakamana, two women and two men from Madi have also been infected with COVID-19, said Dr Nitu Adhikari, the chief of COVID-19 laboratory of Bharatpur Hospital.
