Pathao and Tootle start services from today



KATHMANDU: With the government’s decision to relax the ongoing prohibitory order, Pathao and Tootle have also started providing transport services in the Kathmandu Valley.

The services have started after the government allowed private motorcycles to operate on odd and even system, said Ayush Karki, the manager of the Tootle.

Karki said the company will not take any kids of commission from the riders since they have been rendered jobless for a long time.

He claimed that all the health protocol will be adopted while operating the services.

“Riders have alredy spent a lot of money on masks, gloves and sanitizers and been rendered jobless for a long due to the prohibitory order,” said Karki, adding, “We won’t take any types of commissions from them.”

Similarly, Pathao has also brought its motorcycles and taxis into operation from today, said Marketing Manager Suraksha Hamal.

She added that around 800 riders will provide services at the start and the number will gradually increase.
