KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a woman on the charge of her alleged involvement in the Gongabu murder case.

Kalpana Shahi was arrested from Madhavpur in Chitwan on Monday.

According to the police, she is being brought to Kathmandu for further investigation.

A headless body of Krishna Bahadur Bohara of Dang was found at Tokha Municipality-10 on Sunday. The law enforcement agency had located the head of the man some 300 meters from the place the suitcase was placed.

According to the preliminary investigation, the man was brutally killed on Saturday night using a sharp weapon and thrown in the suitcase.

He had been working at an industry at Sohrakhutte, police said.
