152 Nepalis return home from Qatar



DOHA: A total of 152 Nepalis have returned home from Qatar on Monday through the 29th chartered flight.

According to Pravin Bhattarai, Second Secretary of the Nepali Embassy in Qatar, 152 people, including 12 women, have returned to Nepal from Nepal Airlines Flight 2392.

Representatives of the Nepali community, including staff at Nepali Embassy staff, had reached the Hamad International Airport to facilitate the departure of those returning home.

Earlier today, 301 Nepalis had returned home on two flights of Nepal Airlines and Himalaya Airlines.

Although the number of Nepalis seeking to return to Nepal from Qatar is 13,255, only 5,202 Nepalis have returned so far, according to the Embassy.
