Baily bridge connecting Beni and Jomsom swept away



POKHARA:  A bailey bridge connecting Beni and Jomsom, has been swept away by floods triggered  by incessant rains.

The bridge constructed at Rahughat in Raghuganga rural municipality-3 and Beni municipality-9, Galeshwor was swept away this morning.

Mustang district has been disconnected from the road network after the bailey bridge at Piple was taken away by the floods.

Meanwhile, the people living around the vicinity have been shifted to a safer area, according to Chief District Officer Gyan Nath Dhakal.
