KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said Nepali people have high immune system compared to the people in the other countries.

Addressing a session of the parliament on Wednesday, PM Oli said Nepali people are comparatively more immune to COVID-19 due to the traditional food habits.

There are medicinal herbs such as ginger, turmeric, coriander contained in the daily food Nepali take which build immune system in the Nepali people, argued Oli.

Oli claimed that Nepali people’s food habits have kept the COVID-19 death toll low in the country.
