Two killed in Kailali road mishap

KAILALI:  Two people died after being hit by a speeding car in Kailali district.

The deceased have been identified as 26-year-old Soniya Chaudhary and her five year-old son Kristan Chaudhary of Ghodaghodi municipality-1, confirmed Area Police Office, Sukhad.

They had died on the spot after a car, Ba 4 Cha 2100, hit them while they were walking on the road on Tuesday night.

Other two people sustained injuries in the incident. They have been referred to B and B Hospital after preliminary treatment at Ghodaghodi Hospital.

Police have taken car driver Rajendra Malla of Bardagoriya rural municipality-1 and investigating the case.
