KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is addressing the parliament on Wednesday.

In the parliament called for 11 am today, Prime Minister Oli will answer the questions raised over the various topics of the Office of the Prime Minister, National Planning Commission, Office of the President andVice President.

According to Surya Thapa, the Press Advisor to the Prime Minister, Oli will address the questions raised by lawmakers on the budget and other contemporay issues including the steps taken by the government to control COVID-19.

Main opposition Nepali Congress is dissatisfied with the prevention and control of the coronavirus.

Nepali Congress (NC) lawmaker Gagan Thapa on Tuesday challenged Prime Minister KP Oli to produce details of the expenses incurred in the control of the coronavirus pandemic in the country.

Speaking during the meeting of the House of Representatives, lawmaker Thapa yesterday, who is also a former Health Minister, asked: “Can the government tell us where the Rs 10 billion has been spent?”

He also lambasted the government for failing to work and control the spread of coronavirus despite tall claims on the part of the Health Ministry and other ministers.
