ICC WC League 2: Nepal invited to bat against Oman

KATHMANDU: Oman has won the toss and elected to field against Nepal in the One Day International (ODI) under the ICC World Cup Cricket League 2 being held at TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Sunday.

Earlier, Nepal had faced an 18-run defeat at the hands of Oman at the opening match three days ago.

Nepal is seeking an opportunity to take revenge against Oman today while Oman wants to top the points table by inflicting a second-straight defeat on Nepal in today’s match.

Oman is in the second position with 12 points from six wins out of eight games. America with equal points is ahead of Oman in a net run rate.

Likewise, Nepal is at the bottom in the points table with one win form two games.

Nepal has not defeated Oman for the last seven years.
