KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has decided to form an Interagency Coordination Committee to analyze the recent developments in the West Asian Region.
The committee will analyze and be in close contact with Nepali migrant workers and other Nepali people living in the region.
A meeting held today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) decided to form the committee comprising concerned stakeholders.
The committee will be formed under the chair of Central Asia, West Asia and Africa Division chiefs at the MoFA comprising high-ranking officials from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Labor and Social Security, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, and Nepal Army representatives.
