Border issues will be resolved through diplomatic channel: Minister Pokhrel

POKHARA: Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokharel today asserted that the border issues with India would be addressed through the diplomatic channels.

He said that the process for the same was underway.

“Border issues have been a common concern to all, therefore, consent and concern from all sectors should be addressed in such sensitive issues,” he said.

In another context, he said that the unification between then CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist Centre) was the country’s need.

Minister Pokharel, who is also a Secretariat member of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) said sought people’s cooperation in developmental agendas.

He stated that the unification works of the party were almost complete and the party’s upcoming central committee meeting will complete the remaining tasks.
