KATHMANDU: Nepal Government is preparing to bring Nepali nationals back from Iran and Iraq in the context of escalating between the United States and Iran, officials said.

According to Spokesperson at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) Bharat Raj Poudyal, no casualty of Nepali nationals was reported by the embassy responsible to look after Iraq.

Considering the situation in the Persian Gulf, the government has taken measures to rescue Nepali nationals working in Iraq and Iran in case of emergency, media report said.

The government has initiated an effort to protect its citizens who are at risk and bring them home.
