Protest staged in Lahan against ‘Chinese intervention’ in Nepal



LAHAN: A group led by former lawmaker Sarita Giri has staged a demonstration in Lahan, Siraha today.

The anti-China rally, which was taken out from the premises of the local Pashupati Adarsh ​​Secondary School, later turned into a corner meeting.

Participants said that they were forced to take part in the demonstration as leader Sarita Giri was “taken action” in the issue of Nepal’s revised map owing to increased Chinese interference in Nepal’s politics.

Giri, also a former minister, claimed that her voice raised in the parliament on the map issue was justified.
