14 more succumb to coronavirus in Nepal; death toll reaches 1,651



KATHMANDU: As many as 14 COVID-19 patients succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll from the coronavirus to 1,651 as of Tuesday afternoon.

Meanwhile, a total of 1,056 people have been diagnosed coronavirus positive in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal’s COVID-19 tally has reached 2,44,433 with fresh cases as of Wednesday afternoon.

A total of 1,483 individuals got discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours while the number of people winning the battle against the virus reached 2,30,537 in the country.

Nepal currently has 12,245 active cases.

Likewise, 525 people are in quarantine facilities across the country at present.

Meanwhile, as many as 14 people succumbed to the virus in the past 24 hours taking the COVID-19 death tally in the country to 1,651, the Ministry confirmed.
