Indian Envoy Kwatra pays courtesy call on Minister Bhattarai

KATHMANDU: Indian Ambassador to Nepal Vinay Mohan Kwatra has paid a courtesy call on Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai.

Held at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation in Singha Durbar, the meeting between Minister Bhattarai and Ambassador Kwatra dwelled on the matters related to aviation, tourism and culture between Nepal and India.

In the meeting, Minister Bhattarai and Ambassador Kwatra discussed resuming flight services between the two countries at the earliest.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister Bhattarai thanked the Indian government for assisting in the cultural, tourism and civil aviation sector.

On the occasion, Envoy Kwatra stated that the Indian government is ever ready to assist in the development of religious and cultural sectors of the country.

The meeting also touched upon developing Pashupati, Lumbini and Janakpur as the special religious and cultural destinations.
