Octogenarian woman dies of COVID-19 in Banke



NEPALGUNJ: An 80-year-old woman who died on Tuesday morning has posthumously tested positive for coronavirus in Banke district.

The octogenarian of Nepalgunj Sub Metropolitan City-16 died in the course of treatment at Nepalgunj Medical College, Kohalpur.

The report of he swab sample which was collected on September 7 came out positive on Tuesday evening.

The patient of high blood pressure and diabetes had been admitted to the hospital on September 6 after her health condition deteriorated.

With this, the number of deaths from coronavirus has reached 8 in Banke district.
