Driver killed in Okhaldhunga truck mishap



OKHALDHUNGA: A driver has died after the truck he was driving met with an accident in the district.

The deceased has been identified as Nawaraj Karki, 24, of Jiri of Dolakha.

According to District Police Office, Okhaldhunga, the accident took place when the ill-fated truck, Ba 3 Kha 96, heading to Solukhumbu from Kathmandu met with an accident near Seti Mandir at Siddhicharan Municipality-8 in Okhaldhunga at 4:30 am today.

The truck was ferrying equipment of Solukhola Beni Hydoro based in Solukhumbu district, confirmed Police Inspector of District Police Office, Okhaldhunga Milan Singh Basnet.
