KATHMANDU: The government has sent test kits to the laboratories where coronavirus testing was hindered due to the lack of necessary kits. The kits assisted by the Swiss government were sent to the laboratories.

The Department of Health Services on Friday dispatched the kits to different laboratories across the country after the government received 30,000 kits donated by the Swiss government.

According to the Director-General of the Department of Health Services Mahendra Prasad Shrestha, 500 to 1,000 kits have been sent to the laboratories were testing has been hindered for the lack of kits.

“We have sent kits to all the Provinces today,” Shrestha told Khabarhub.

Director-General Shrestha said that 1,000 kits are being sent to Nepalgunj through a chopper of the Nepal Army, adding that there will be no shortage of kits in the laboratories for the next three days.
