UK reports 30, 615 deaths, 206, 715 infection cases



KATHMANDU: The death toll in the United Kingdom (UK) has reached 30, 615 after 539 died in the last 24 hours.

According to Worldometer, with 5, 614 new cases,  the number of infection cases has surged to 206, 715 as of Friday morning.

Currently, 175, 756 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 1, 559 are critical.   UK has performed tests on 1,534,533  people so far.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 212 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 270,352 and infecting 3,912,425 people as of Friday morning.
