FNCCI undecided over its convention

KATHMANDU: The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) is considering whether it should postpone its upcoming convention scheduled for April 10 and 11.

The umbrella organization of the Nepali private sector is currently involved in the discussion over the postponement of the convention as the government has already urged people and organizations to defer public events and gatherings in a bid to protect themselves from potential infection of the COVID-19.

FNCCI President Bhawani Rana has called a meeting of the secretariat for Friday to discuss the options.
